Carrie Bach is an accomplished leader in health care philanthropy, with more than 20 years of experience across national and international organizations. As the vice president of strategic initiatives at Operation Smile, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s long-term strategy, focusing on enhancing global fundraising efforts, expanding international operational capacity and educational programs, and strengthening global health policy and advocacy initiatives.

Carrie’s expertise spans some of the world’s leading health systems, including MD Anderson Cancer Center, Banner Health, and CommonSpirit Health, where she addressed critical issues such as health care access and equity, workforce development, and surgical capacity in under-resourced areas. Carrie earned her MBA from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, where she was elected class president for a cohort of 65 global executives, and holds a B.A. in political science from George Washington University.
