Jason Sutton, MBA

A seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in health care administration, Jason Sutton’s expertise is in leading operations and executing strategic initiatives. As the senior vice president of global operations at Operation Smile since 2022, Sutton is responsible for driving the planning and implementation of the global operational strategy, with a focus on optimizing efficiency, scaling operations and enhancing performance across the foundations.

Sutton began his career as the special assistant to the assistant attorney general in the office of legal policy at the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. He then segued into healthcare administration in 2003 by managing residency and fellowship programs at the University of Texas Southwestern and Texas Health Resources and from there transitioned to clinical administrator at Children’s Health Network. In addition, Sutton held key leadership positions at Methodist Health System and Baylor Scott & White Uptown where he was senior director of operations and CFO/COO respectively.

Sutton holds a Bachelor of the Arts in history from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. He resides in Dallas, Texas.
