Jim Siti, MBA

Since joining Operation Smile in 2018, Jim Siti, MBA, has overseen several departments, including finance, IT, human resources, operations and medical quality. He currently serves as chief operating and financial officer.

He began his career with Operation Smile as a program coordinator from 1994 to 1997, working in many countries across Latin America and Asia. Some highlights from his coordinator days include the first fact-finding trip to Honduras and the inaugural mission in Fortaleza, Brazil.

He received his Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University and worked for 20 years in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries with experience at Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Bristol Myers Squibb and Ernst & Young. He has helped develop a range of healthcare products in oncology, cardiovascular medicine and molecular diagnostics, as well as served as the head of due diligence for a United Kingdom-based healthcare investment fund.

Siti served on the Operation Smile Board of Directors as head of the finance committee from 2013 through 2016, before taking the role of interim chief financial officer at Operation Smile in 2017. In addition to previous service on the board, Siti currently serves on the boards of Operation Smile Canada and Pierian Biosciences.
