Every year, thousands of Operation Smile medical volunteers travel around the world to help children who desperately need it – children who are suffering from cleft lip and cleft palate, who are waiting for a new start at life. With hope in their hearts for a chance at surgery, many parents travel long distances to bring their child to Operation Smile, and entrust their child to medical professionals who might not even speak their same language.
These parents have confidence in us. These parents have put their hope in our hands, and we do not have the right to let them down. We will give you our very best. - Mradmi Wafaa, Operation Smile volunteer plastic surgeon from MoroccoLatest Stories
